PFG-01 Holographic Film & Plates
A red sensitive (600-680nm) silver halide emulsion, the PFG-01 is an excellent choice for making transmission holograms, but can also be used for reflection holograms. It features an average grain size of 40nm and high resolving power of 3000 lines/mm.

Multi-Purpose, Robust, Red-Sensitive
Fine-grained red-sensitive holographic plates and film designed for use with CW radiation in the red spectral range (633nm HeNe laser, 647nm Krypton laser, or suitable holography diode laser 635-658nm). Especially appropriate for making transmission holograms but can also be used for reflection holograms. It boasts a fractive index of 1.61 and diffration efficiency for reflection holograms of 45%. Available in plate and film format.
Compared to other emulsions, the PFG-01 emulsion is more resilient to fluctuations in humidity and temperature during storage and use, and is thus recommended if you are situated in a climate with particularly high temperature and humidity.

TIP: If you'll be mainly making reflection holograms or want the fastest processing (for example, for classroom situations), we'd recommend going with the PFG-03M holographic plates and JD-4 developer kit instead.
